Application and Use Instructions for Product: #8058 CD Lens Cleaning Kit

1. Insert the CD LENS Cleaning disc into the CD drive in the same manner as any CD. Be sure the graphics side is facing visible.
2. From Program Manager open the ACCESSORIES window.
3. Double Click on the MEDIA PLAYER Icon.
4. Select CD AUDIO from the Device Menu.
5. Select PLAY and the cleaning cycle will begin.

To ACTIVATE from SOUND BLASTER 16 Program Group

1. Insert the CD LENS cleaner in the same manner as any CD. Be sure the graphics side is visible.
2. Select either the CD Icon or CD or CD REMOTE Icon to access CD menu.
3. Select PLAY and the cleaning cycle will begin.

To ACTIVATE a CD DRIVE without a sound card

1. Insert the CD LENS cleaner in the same manner as any CD. Be sure the graphics side is facing you.
2. Go to the MS DOS C:\prompt.
3. At the C:\prompt change to your CD DRIVE. This is usually drive D:\ or higher. (Your system will tell you upon installation of your CD DRIVE.)
4. At the CD DRIVE prompt type "DIR" enter and the cleaning cycle will begin. MS DOS will do a directory search and default with an error message. Repeat this step until the CD DRIVE has been activated for 20 seconds.
