Staticide® 3030 Concentrate

Non-flammable, chloride- and nitrate-free

Staticide® 3030 Concentrate provides the same long-lasting static protection as Staticide® 3000 Original Concentrate, but in a non-flammable formula with superior wetting properties.

Staticide® 3030 Concentrate is ideal to use in the manufacture of shielding bags because it contains no contaminants like chlorides, nitrates, or silicone. The formula does not include substances on the REACH SvHC list or in the RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC.

Once diluted, this product can be applied in a variety of ways. It can be used to wipe non-porous surfaces, spray textiles, roll-coat plastic film, or sprayed in high production applications.

Staticide® 3030 Concentrate saves freight, handling, and storage costs for high production facilities while offering greater flexibility in dilution.

Ideal for the following applications:

  • Eliminate dust attraction
  • Prevent potential damage to sensitive electronic components and subassemblies during manufacture, testing, packaging, shipping, and receiving
  • Stop ignition of combustible vapors, dust, and solvents, preventing fire or explosion
  • Avoid irregularities caused by static in quality printing, heat sealing, silk screening, lamination, and other special applications
  • Prevent static discharge on workbenches and production surfaces

FEATURES:

  • Exceeds MIL-B-81705 and NFPA-56A electrostatic decay criteria
  • Meets requirements for topical anti-stats as listed in DOD-HDBK-263
  • Proven effective in relative humidity below 15%
  • Decays static in less than two seconds
  • Surface resistance between 10e8 - 10e10 ohms

Dilution Instructions:

Fill clean container with the desired volume of solvent. Pure water or isopropyl alcohol can be used. Add appropriate volume of Staticide® Concentrate to the solvent to avoid foaming. Do not add concentrate first, foaming and bubbles will occur.

For porous surfaces such as carpets, work surfaces, conveyor belts, clothing, and other textiles use a 39 part solvent (water or isopropyl) to 1 part concentrate mixture.

For non-porous surfaces such as on machines, fixtures, paneling, tile, trays, totes, most films, plastics, paper, and non-woven fabrics, use a 99 part solvent (water or isopropyl) to 1 part concentrate mixture.
