Versatile Personnel Grounding Tester

Save time by testing personnel wrist and footwear grounding with the easy to use Staticide® 780 Wrist Strap & Dual Heel Tester. This pass/fail tester measures the electrical resistance of wrist straps and ESD footwear simultaneously or individually. Colored LEDs show universally understood test results in under three seconds.

Featuring the same high end components as the Staticide® 750USB Wrist Strap & Dual Heel Tester, the 780 is perfect for work areas that need personnel grounding testing but that don't require data logging. Adjustable high and low limits add versatility for ESD plans.

The Economy Combo Tester is available with or without a stand. Optional accessories available include an 1000MΩ high limit and relay for security door access.

Economy Combo Tester

Directions:

Position selector switch according to desired test: wrist, feet, or both simultaneously. Step on footplate then press and hold the button. The green “OK” LED will illuminate for a pass and one of the red LEDs will illuminate for a failure. A buzzer will also sound for failed tests. Red lights will signify whether an employee tested too high or too low, or whether there was a wrist strap failure or a heel grounder failure. Details of testing are found in the ACL 780 manual.
