Staticide® 8660 Freeze Spray Anti-Stat

Safely Cools Individual Static-Sensitive Components

ACL Inc’s high-performance Staticide® 8660 Freeze Spray Anti-Stat quickly cools off printed circuit boards with pinpoint accuracy to help identify failed electrical components such as resistors, capacitors, and relays. Unique to this formula is an added anti-stat that prevents corrosion-causing frost and tribogeneration from using the spray.

Rapid cooling allows for high heat transfer between components making it ideal for identifying individual failed components, stress fractures, and cracks, and for dissipating heat in rework and repair operations.

Ideal for the following applications:

  • Rework and repair
  • Electronics manufacturing and assembly
  • PCB design

FEATURES:

  • Zero static generation
  • Non-flammable
  • Ultra pure; filtered to .020 microns
  • Fast-drying; non-residual
  • Non-corrosive; non-abrasive
  • Ozone-safe; no CFCs or HCFCs
  • Cools to -60°F/-51°C

Directions:

First, power up the PCB. Spray product directly onto PCB with push nozzle for total board application. For isolating failures, use extension tube to systematically cool suspect components without freezing other areas of the board. When board begins to function, failed components have been identified. Use in conjunction with performance testing devices.

For industrial use only. Read SDS carefully prior to use.
