Staticide® General Purpose
Static control for all surfaces
Staticide® General Purpose anti-static topical is easy to use and highly effective in preventing the build up of electrostatic charge, known as tribogeneration, in industrial manufacturing and static-sensitive environments.
A key component in any static control program, this ready-to-use solution formulated specifically for non-porous surfaces is non-toxic, non-flammable, and non-staining. With a similar viscosity to water, it can be applied in many ways including spraying, wiping, or dipping.
Staticide® General Purpose can be used for revitalizing anti-static mats that have lost their dissipative properties, cleaning vinyl records, and when applied to packaging material, can be classified as low charging packaging material as described in ANSI/ESD S541-2019 when tested according to ESD ADV11.21.
Ideal Applications:
- Reduce dust, dirt, and bacteria attraction to surfaces
- Prevent damage to sensitive electronic equipment, components, and subassemblies during manufacture, testing, packaging, and shipping
- Jamming or slipping of paper, plastics, and other materials during printing, packaging, and converting
- Ignition of combustible vapors, dust, and solvents, preventing fire or explosion
- Irregularities caused by static in quality printing, heat sealing, silk screening, lamination, and other special applications
- Static discharge on workbenches and production surfaces
Product Features:
- Formulated for non-porous surfaces
- Exceeds MIL-B-81705 and NFPA-56A electrostatic decay criteria
